zanettisview is a website that showcases the work of political cartoonist Paul Zanetti. The site is free to read and features a variety of articles that are both humorous and informative. It also offers subscribers a newsletter that keeps them up-to-date on Zanetti’s latest creations.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Zanetti started his football career at local club Talleres. His outstanding performances attracted the attention of first division teams River Plate and Boca Juniors. He joined Banfield in 1993 and scored his first goal seventeen days after he debuted for the club.
After a successful career at Banfield, Zanetti was transferred to Italian club Inter Milan in 1995. He played under 19 different coaches during his time at the Italian club and won 5 Serie A titles and 4 Coppa Italia.
Zanetti spent a total of 12 years without being sent off during his career at Inter. His only red card came in a Serie A match against Udinese on 3 December 2011.
In 2010, at the age of 37, Zanetti became the oldest player to score in the Champions League when he netted in the opening minute of Inter’s 4-3 group stage victory over Tottenham Hotspur. He was a member of the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup winning team and he also won his fifth Serie A title and fourth Coppa Italia with Inter.
Zanetti has a strong passion for art, music and lifestyle, which is what is evident in his brand, the ZANETTI BRAND. Its mission is to “create and share ideas with the world.”
